Hello all.
I need some assistnace with LANDesk Service Manager/Process Manager.
I am currently involved in a project where we will be replacing devices using Profile Migration. I am using LSM to automate the process, which includes the email notification. We are doing this replacement in phases, and it happens that our first phase involves just over 3,000 devices/users. The PM on this would like the email blast to go out to the entire list at the same time.
Now, I have very limited exposure to the internal workings of LSM. That being said, the only way I know to get the email sent is to manually input each device name into the email form in LSM. Doing this for 3,000 devices is going to be extremely time consuming to say the least.
Does anyone know of a way that I could take the list from a spreadsheet and import those device names in to LSM to then get the email sent?
Any ideas/suggestions/recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
